Anastasia

Progress is always a given with Anastasia - she keeps me leaning forward. Her lessons are interesting, fun and very helpful and effective. On top of that, she is one of the kindest and sweetest people I've ever met -- our lessons are like a brother and sister having a friendly chat - ranging from serious to teasing, and always enjoyable and helpful

My first lesson with Anastasia was awesome! I am not a great conversationalist in Russian but she didn’t seem fazed by that at all, she asked interesting questions and let me speak a lot, correcting my mistakes along the way. I was surprised that I could speak so much and that an hour could go by so quickly :)

I am so grateful for Anastasia. Let's face it, Russian isn't a simple language but Anastasia explains it clearly and puts it in a context that makes sense to me, as well as being endlessly patient while I struggle through it! She's also very funny and smart, so I look forward to every lesson, even when I'm not at my most intelligent.

As usual Anastasia was great at offering more natural ways to express myself in Russian as well as correcting my errors while still allowing the conversation to flow. She is also really good at asking follow up questions to encourage you to go deeper.

I understand spoken Russian so much better than I used to. I feel like it’s an under appreciated skill in conversation.

We’re starting to discuss Russian folklore and comparing it to my country. Looking forward to practicing language while really using the language to communicate and learn.
