Hello! I'm Clémentine, I come from France but I've been studying and working abroad for four years. I love learning about lifestyles and cultures, which is how I started I studying languages. I travel the world teaching languages and meeting new people. I am a very happy and active person. I love exercising and particularly dancing.Показать перевод

Teaching is my passion. Although I studied international management, I always enjoyed teaching abroad and I developed this interest by tutoring students at the university of Wollongong in Australia (from 18 to 60 years old!). I also worked as an au pair in Spain, which was an incredible experience for me since I was able not only to teach English and French but also to learn about the culture. I later had the opportunity to realize my passion in Slovenia by becoming a full time teacher. There, I was in charge of developing English and French programs for students between first and ninth grade. Before working full time on Italki, I worked in Thailand as an English teacher in kindergarten.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I remember going to school and thinking to myself "why is this so boring?". I also remember the incredible motivation that I had to study the subjects that were taught well. This is why my teaching method is based on one rule: student and teacher must be enjoying the lesson. For beginners, we focus on talking (listening and speaking skills), then we slowly move towards reading and finally writing. I use a lot of visual supports (pictures, drawings) to help stimulate various memory channels. For intermediate to advanced students, we study all four skills together, depending on your needs. I like to know my students well so I can develop the perfect programs for them.Мой учебный материал

Clémentine is an amazing French teacher. In the span of one year of weekly lessons, I went from not being able to understand more than a handful of words to having full conversations with full comprehension. Clémentine also went above and beyond in creating structured lessons that helped me comfortably pass the DELF B2. If you are like me, and had no idea where to start when signing up with Italki, I highly recommend Clémentine thanks to her expertise in teaching foreign language, full fluency in English, and dedication to helping students reach their goals.

I’m incredibly grateful for the work Clémentine puts into my lessons. After two years the sessions are still fresh and engaging as she uses such a wide variety of teaching methods and materials. With Clémentine it's like having a nice chat with a friend. We can talk about anything. I prefer not having a plan for the session, as I think it's more challenging to talk spontaneously rather than prepare for a particular subject before the class. I have been very happy with my conversation sessions with Clémentine for a full year now! She always sends me great notes after each session. Merci Clémentine!
