I have been teaching English since 2016, and I have a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CELTA), accredited by the University of Cambridge. As a language graduate myself, I have a deep interest in language learning which I like to share with my students. I have taught throughout Europe, Colombia and online, and I have experience with all ages and abilities. My lessons are based on the communicative approach, so that students are constantly able to put the language they have learnt into practice. I am able to personalise classes according to the learner's needs and goals. This might mean that you need to focus on specific skills, such as writing or speaking, in order to take an exam. We can clarify these goals together and I can plan your classes accordingly. I really like lessons with Melisa. I had many teachers before but Melisa is just the best. She puts a lot of energy into lessons and She always prepares lesson content in advance, which is awesome and as a consequence lessons are never boring.
