I am from Seattle, Washington in the United States, but now I live in Korea. I love listening to podcasts🎧, reading about history and society📚, and running🏃♂️. My wife and I try to travel as much as possible because we believe traveling is one of the best ways to learn about the world.🌏
I recently finished my master's degree and much of my course work was focused on academic writing in a second language. So, if you are learning English to study in university, I can help you improve your academic writing and reading skills.

I got my English teaching certification👨🏫 from the Seattle School of TESOL in 2015 while working as an English instructor at an adult education center in Seattle, Washington. I have experience teaching pre-school aged children, elementary to university students, and working adults. As a teacher, I believe it is my job to be a guide for students along their English learning journey to help meet their goals.⭐
2015년에 영어 교사로 일을 하면서 TESOL 영어교육 자격증을 받았습니다👨🏫. 시애틀에서 성인반 수업을 했고 한국에서는 영어 학원에서 어린이부터 성인 1:1 과외까지 가르쳤습니다. 선생님의 역할은 단순히 영어를 알려주는 게 아니라 학생이 목표를 이룰 수 있도록 함께 하는 역할이라고 생각합니다.⭐Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I always do my best to bring enthusiasm to our lessons and listen to what you want to learn. In our lessons, I will give you materials before our lesson so you can get as much practice as possible really using English in our lesson. If you have a specific book and resource you want to use in our lesson, we can use that for our lesson. Otherwise, I will use news articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, and study guides I created for our lesson. 📓

I finished five classes with him and all of them were very informative and useful. His comments on my writing is precise and detailed. He also gives me useful advice about having a suitable mindset for learning language. I think, for a long term, a mindset is more important than memorizing a lot of vocabulary. He provide good questions for each classes and also receptive to my topic suggestion.

Through a discussion on a social issue, I was able to deepen my thoughts on the issue, and Austin's discussion tips also helped me a lot in terms of speaking formally and strategically.
