Hey everyone! I`m a journalist and native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia. I can help you with your Spanish in a fun and easy way. In our lessons, we can talk, and write, but also sing, dance. Karen is one of the best teachers on Italki. She has experience teaching and it shows. Here classes are always very well planned and executed. She uses methods that work very well and I have seen a significant increase in my Spanish in the time that I have been taking classes with her. I would highly recommend taking classes with her.

Karen is an amazing teacher, and more than that, a fabulously intelligent and fun person to have a conversation with! She has given me priceless direction in finding music, podcasts and lectures in Spanish that are stimulating and engaging, and provide fuel for our lessons that fly by. Karen es una profesora bien cualificada, y realmente disfruto de mis clases con ella. Hablamos de temas distintos e interesantes, y siempre me siento cómoda durante nuestras conversaciones. Nunca tengo miedo de hacer preguntas o cometer errores, porque siempre está dispuesta a ayudarme con la gramática y estructura correcta, dándome ejemplos y explicaciones claras. Además, Karen es muy motivadora, y quiere que yo beneficie de cada clase. La recomiendo como una maestra divertida, entusiasta y muy eficaz.
