I sincerely want you to feel safe speaking Korean with me.
You can always make mistakes (actually, you should!) and I will gently correct them.
Also, I want you to learn "REAL KOREAN", not translated Korean or words we never use.
💛 I will have you repeat vocabulary, grammar conjugations, sounds, or phrases in many different ways so that you learn and can make them your own words. I don't want you to use the same grammar and words every time.
📝 Don't worry! I'll write down everything we do on lessons on Google Docs so you can review it there. It will be a CUSTOMIZED TEXTBOOK made just for you!Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
It would be nice if you could tell me exactly what you want to focus on and what materials you want to use.
If you don't have...
For beginners - Hanguel, textbooks(from King Sejong Institute/Korean Grammar in use-if you want to focus on Grammar)
For intermediates - freetalking/Korean Grammar in use-if you want to focus on Grammar/you can always bring your own materials like books, film scripts, videos etc.

- If a lesson is about to start within 24 hours, it can NOT be changed to a new time or be canceled.

Joni is great! I can tell she is committed. I am very new to learning and was having trouble with pronunciation. She gave me good advice and described how to make the desired sound. She even made a video for me so that I can practice. 10/10!!!

I've been taking classes with Joni all year now and wanted to write another review. Joni is great! She is really good at customizing her lessons to me and the topics that interest me. I feel very comfortable in the classes even when I make mistakes. I will definitely be continuing classes with her well into the future. I would highly recommend her as a teacher. 10/10 :)
