My name is Lisa and I'm passionate about learning new languages and cultural exchange. I'm American and have been living abroad for 10 years. Traveling is my life and I have been able to visit every continent on Earth by the age of 25! Yes, that includes Antarctica! I'm also a chef and I enjoy trying new foods and cooking for friends.
I’m currently based in Italy where I'm earning my Master's in Communications and Marketing. I've also lived in Australia for three years. Melbourne is one of my favorite cities! On the weekend you can find me relaxing in a local cafe (when possible!) I love going to see live music and art exhibitions. Most of all I enjoy helping others!

In addition to teaching in public and private schools in South Korea for three years, I have also taught over 1,000 lessons here on Italki! My focus as a teacher is primarily working with young learners between the age of 13 to 17 and working professionals.
My experience as a professional chef and educator has allowed me to gain valuable skills when it comes to helping other adults to develop themselves. This role has helped me to work with others looking to improve their language skills, gain confidence during interviews, and develop speaking ability. Overall, my main goal is to provide a thorough, in-depth, and personalized learning experience for all of my students.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
My teaching style is one based on flexibility, a focus on fun, full engagement, and being goal oriented. Our first lesson together will be one to get to know each other and talk about what goals you want to accomplish and WHY you want to learn english. From there I will work with you to create lessons that are catered especially to your language needs.
Each of our lessons will be different but they will follow the basic format of :
warm up/
introduction or review of past lesson/
main lesson of the day/
practice/
wrapping up the lesson.
I'm all about Team Work and I like to think of my students and myself as a team. My lessons may be challenging but always relaxed and enjoyable.Мой учебный материал
