Lucy is always super punctual and has never missed a lesson. She knows how to motivate me and helped me improve my Swahili sooo much already!

One of the best lessons I've had on iTalki. Lucy does a great job at assessing where you are and then creating a tailored lesson. She mixes structured exercises with conversation, which I found very helpful. Really looking forward to the next lesson!

Lucy is very supportive, kind, and patient, and I am happy to have her as my guide to the world of Swahili. Starting from almost zero, I have now studied over one hundred sessions with her. I have not only become able to communicate in many everyday circumstances, but also learned many new things about Kenya and its cultures as well. Lucy encourages me to use the language, which is essential for learning to communicate with ease. The learning materials that we use in addition to conversation are well-chosen and support the learning process. I highly recommend studying with Lucy if your goal is to build a solid understanding of Swahili and to gain confidence in speaking the language.
