I have been taking Portuguese lessons with Jefferson for several months now. I can't recommend him enough. I started lessons with him with 0 confidence to talk in Portuguese, and now I am able to have a full conversation in Portuguese! Not only did he help me get out of my comfort zone to help me speak, but he also provided enough material and support to build a strong base. Obrigada Jefferson !

Jefferson is truly and incredible teacher! I recently completed my 100th lesson with him and feel so grateful for his expertise and patience. I meet with him 3 times a week and always find myself smiling after the lessons because he finds a way to make learning a new language fun! He’s brilliant as a professor, creative in his materials, and always happy to adjust to my season of life. I can’t recommend him enough. Obrigada, Jefferson!!

Jefferson has been an incredible Portuguese teacher! While preparing for the CELPE-BRAS, Jefferson aided me in correcting my grammar and fine-tuning my writing skills! He was always preparped for classes and sent a lesson summary after each lesson. Thank you very much for all year help Jefferson! Best Porutuges teacher ever!

I have been taking lessons for quite some time with Jefferson, and I can say that he is an excellent teacher; as well as a kind and genuine human being. His approach as a teacher, that is to say, the methods, and materials that he uses, are carefully selected in accordance to your needs as student, regardless of the level of understanding you already might have in the language. In addition, he is a good listener, one who is willing to collaborate with the learner to bring out the student's interests and precise needs. Accordingly, he will integrate these particular needs and interests that the student has into his lessons, thereby making each lesson with Jefferson all the more enriching. I know I will continue to rely on Jefferson as a cornerstone teacher and guide in my Portuguese learning journey.

I like my classes with Jefferson. He’s attentive and try to answer all of my questions that could be random at times. He is able to explain some nuances of words and sentences you want to learn. He is flexible enough to adjust the class to what I want to learn on the day, but also always prepared for what we can learn/discuss beforehand in case I don’t have specific topics I want to go through. I would recommend him.

Jefferson is a great teacher and I’ve learned so much from the months that we have worked together! He’s organized with a plan for each lesson.
