Hello everyone! My name is Victor Muñoz, I was born in the beautiful city of Medellin, Colombia and as a child my family and I moved to the U.S where I grew up and went to school for many years. I later returned to Colombia and started teaching English at the age of 18. I now have over 15 years of experience teaching. I also studied International Business and worked for 6 years as an Account Executive, Coordinator in the Logistics dept. and as a Senior Buyer for a Multinational company. I love traveling; I’ve been to places like Dubai, Seychelles, Spain, Thailand, and others. I love sports, music, art, movies, cooking and more.

I love teaching and helping people reach their goals of improving and feeling confident about speaking a new language by focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of every individual student. My classes are fun, interesting and dynamic, I do not like to focus only on grammar but rather on fluency and conversational skills. I believe having conversations on various different subjects is the best way to learn and practice a new language.

I like to use my experience from teaching at places like Berlitz (Dubai & Medellin), Winston Salem Academy, Universal Language Academy, etc. and put together all the knowledge I've gained over the years into my own methodology which is focused on conversation. I always send an email with the material before class so that you can get familiarized with it. Each class is about a specific topic containing simple grammar explanations, interesting vocabulary and lots of specific questions that bring everything together and make you use everything learned in a dynamic conversation. At the end I like to answer any questions and doubts you might have and provide feedback.
