Bonjour, Hi !
I'm a French/English teacher and native speaker, originally from Montreal, Canada.
I have been living in Latin America for the past 6+ years, mostly in the beautiful countries of Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, and now in Argentina. I am very passionate about languages, travels and photography.

Classes are oriented towards your needs, to help you reach your goals. Whether you are beginner, intermediate or advanced, I will guide you towards success with a variety of activities and discussions.
I'm proactive, attentive and patient. I know French has its challenges, but I will help you find an easy AND fun way to learn. Moreover, I am very structured and organized in order to meet all of my students' needs.

Conversation classes are best suited for an intermediate/advanced student who wants to learn new expressions, work on vocabulary and develop her/his critical skills, through a variety of discussions. I always provide constructive feedback; we can certainly address and review mistakes, if necessary.
I also specialize in structured French classes, which are ideal for beginners or intermediates. We will be able to cover various grammatical notions, learn new vocabulary, and work on your pronunciation. For those who start from zero, we can communicate in English or Spanish, in order to make a smooth transition into speaking more and more French together, as we move forward.Мой учебный материал

I am so glad that I found Julien on iTalki. I have worked with a few teachers, but he is by far the best! He provides excellent guidance and clear, understandable answers to my questions. Excellent first French lesson with Julien. I am returning to French after many years of not speaking. I felt immediately at ease and able to speak openly with him. Totally kind and disarming - willing to answer all my questions. I even walked away with great improvements I can immediately implement. Merci Julien!

I have now worked with Julien for just over a year. He has been fantastic. Sometimes we focus just on conversation; other times we have done some grammar exercises; or we might read an article and work on pronunciation. I feel much more confident speaking French (even if I make the inevitable mistakes) compared to a year ago.
