Irmarie

Irmarie uses a variety of different learning modes (from technical to conversational and cultural) in her lessons that allows one to get a three dimensional understanding of Dutch. The tailored course (Dutch for Afrikaans speakers) also helps with specific challenges between the two languages which makes a huge difference!

Irmarie has such a gentle and easy-going personality and is easy to relate to her. She "custom-made" my lesson to fit my needs from Afrikaans to Dutch. I am really satisfied with my progress in only 6 months (once a week). I can HIGHLY recommend her! Common Saffas, let us support her.

I've been taking lessons with Irmarie for more than two years now. She helped me prepare for the NT2 Staatsexamen (Programma II). Thanks to her guidance, I passed all four parts of the exam in April for the first try. She has helped me a lot with her patience, support, useful corrections and kindness. I've had lessons with several other Dutch teachers on the platform and she stands out from the rest. I'm sure I'll continue taking lessons with her for a long time.
