Andres Urueña.

I finished my second lesson with Andres today, and I could not be more optimistic about our progress so far. He is the first teacher I've tried on this platform, and while I recognize the value of trying different conversation partners when practicing your second language, I have zero doubt that he will be my go to guy. Andres structures his lessons in such a way that will keep you speaking Spanish, and he never makes you feel as though he's losing interest due to you taking a few seconds to collect your thoughts. He'll respectfully point out instances where you could've phrased something better, and he speaks English well too so he can help you find the word you're looking for if you get stuck. Andres is also great about speaking slowly enough so that you can understand what he's saying, without limiting his vocabulary so you still have the chance to learn a new word or phrase just by listening. Talking to him feels like catching up with a friend you haven't seen in a while.

Andres splits the class perfectly. Half talking about life and what's going on everyday. And then, the other half, practicing skills (for me, my listening needs to improve). There's a reason I keep buying packages of lessons and it's because Andres is the best!

Andrés es un profesor excepcional. Me estimula, me anima, me hace preguntas y siempre es muy dinámico. Me siento cómodo y mejor en español con él. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

Estuvo muy bien hablar con Andrés. Él es muy paciente y explica todo muy claramente para que se entienda. Estoy deseando nuestra próxima lección.

Great lesson with Andres. He's good at naturally keeping the conversation going, and corrects my mistakes in a patient way. He focuses on me speaking, which I appreciate.
