Federica is great! She doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable to make mistakes. After a couple mins in, she spoke in only Italian and it challenged me to think in Italian and respond in Italian even if I felt like I didn’t have all the words or the grammar right. We’ll continue to work on sharpening my grammar skills with exercises and practice. I have taken many Italian courses but the opportunity to converse with a native speaker who can correct you when you make mistakes is amazing. I have gotten to a point in my Italian studies in which I understand much more than I can formulate into speech myself and the conversational practice Federica offers is super great for me.
