I was born, raised and educated in the United States. I’ve been living in Vietnam since 2013. I currently live in Da Nang with my wife and two children. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I have been teaching English since 2014 and I really enjoy my work. I like spending free time with my family, riding my bike, swimming in the sea, and playing games with my children. I enjoy writing and recording music in my home studio. I like to learn and be creative. I have a great sense of humor and love having fun. Let’s have some laughs together as you develop your English skills. I've been teaching English full time in Vietnam since 2014. Prior to COVID, I had been teaching at local schools and English centers for 7 years. COVID forced me to start teaching online, and I have continued teaching online since 2020. I have a lot of experience teaching students of all skill levels and ages; from beginners to advanced learners, from very young preschoolers to adults. Over the years, I have helped thousands of students improve their English with my teaching techniques.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I love to have fun and make my class entertaining, relaxing, and encouraging. I do my best to make my students feel comfortable and confident. Most of my students say that their nervousness and insecurities quickly dissipate after a few minutes of our time together.
We can do anything you want during our session. We can work on general conversations, build your vocabulary, or work on grammatical skills. I can help you with any confusion you may have about English. My teaching style is very laid-back and spontaneous. My students and I usually have a great time throughout our sessions together.

I had my first lesson with Challis, and it was fantastic! In addition to his great energy and friendly approach, he was excellent at identifying and explaining my grammar mistakes in a way that was both intuitive and easy to understand.
