Hola, Soy Valentina, Colombiana, tengo 24 años y soy profesora de Ciencias Naturales y Educación Ambiental. Soy alegre, apasionada y me encanta enseñar y aprender, me gusta leer y la música, la historia del arte y conversar en general. Tengo 3 años de experiencia como tutora de español y hablo inglés en un nivel intermedio. Nice to meet you, my name is Valentina, i´m colombian, i'm 23 years old and i´m a natural science and enviromental education teacher. I am cheerful, passionate and I love teaching and learning, I like reading and music, art history and a good conversation. I have 3 years of experience as a Spanish tutor and I speak English at an intermediate level.

Como profesora, me gusta ante todo mantener el respeto con mis estudiantes, escuchar sus opiniones y sugerencias. Al enseñar español me gusta tomar temáticas con las que mis estudiantes se sientan identificados y se sientan cómodos al conversar, pero también temas fuera de su zona de confort para aprender algo nuevo. As a teacher, i´ve learnt a lot about pedagogy, didactics and the many learning methods. Like teacher, i am always very respectful with my students, listen their opinions and suggestions. To teach spanish i like to handle topics comfortable and identified, but i also like to talk about other subjets out of the confort zone to my students.

Me gustan las clases dinámicas, done los estudiantes se sientan cómodos y participativos, así que combino la clase magistral con la conversación, diferentes juegos didácticos y uso de recursos audiovisuales como canciones o videos. Estoy abierta a cualquier sugerencia de mis estudiantes. I like dynamic classes, where the students can feel convenient and take part of it, so i combine the theorical class with the conversation, distinct games and audiovisual resources. I´m open mind to any suggestion by my students.

Valentina is a very patient teacher. We practice modo imperativo and she uses a plenty exercises to help me to learn it. 😊🫠

Valentina is a great teacher and an enjoyable person to talk to. I appreciate the questions she asks that allow me to try new vocabulary and grammar. She offers corrections when appropriate and is great about giving feedback towards the end of the lesson.
