I have been studying with Eva for over a year at this point. I never thought it would be possible to get my Chinese to it’s current level. With a language such as Chinese it seemed daunting at first. However, her teaching style is extremely flexible so learning Chinese became manageable. I have been able to accomplish, and at the very least; better my linguistic goals for Chinese. Thanks to Eva, my listening, speaking, reading comprehension and even writing skills have grown exponentially. She is truly a great mentor and instructor.

Great teacher! I have been attending classes now for a few months and my understanding of Chinese is so much better than I ever thought possible. I never imagined I would be able to read Chinese characters so well or so quickly! The reason I have stayed with Eva is her teaching style and personality. She knows when I am just being lazy and pushes me to a higher level of difficulty. Yet this is done in a manner that does not feel overwhelming. She also has an excellent memory on what my weaknesses are and challenges me in every lesson to not become complacent, but to push myself to do better than I currently am. I highly recommend her as a teacher! The progress I have made under her instruction constantly amazes me and my local Chinese-speaking friends!

Eva is great! My Chinese speaking, reading, and confidence has improved a lot through weekly lessons. Eva always helps get me past vocabulary, grammatical, or any other issues to keep me expressing myself through meaningful conversation. She brings explanation when necessary but she is flexible in her teaching style, adapting to what I need most to progress. :)

Eva was really patient even though I kept on making the same mistake numerous times, and she kindly corrected me each time. I enjoyed having a formal lesson with her and also the opportunity to chat freely like you would with a friend!

Eva was amazing. She is patient, corrected my pronunciation and taught me things beyond the lesson plan. I highly recommend her!
