I have greatly enjoyed taking lessons with Andrea and I've learned so much already in just a few weeks! I highly recommend her for anybody thinking about learning Spanish! She is incredibly patient and kind, and she makes me feel very comfortable to try things out and make mistakes. The lessons feel like having a good chat with a friend, and you get to learn so much about the Mexican culture & dialect while learning the language itself. I am always looking forward to the next class!

I've been taking weekly Spanish classes with Lau for four years. She has helped me tremendously in all aspects of my Spanish. Her warm personality and passion for teaching made her class a fun, enriching experience. She always adapts to the student's needs, but at the same time challenges the student to aim high. Her emphasis not only on language but also on culture and society opened doors and inspired new curiosity. For anyone who's taking on the challenge of learning Spanish, I cannot recommend Lau highly enough.

Leaving the Duolingo green owl behind and finding Maria was the best decision I've made for my Spanish. Around 6 months in, I've gone from feeling embarrassed speaking to holding full conversations for an hour without freezing up. Maria is patient and creates an environment where you're completely comfortable making mistakes. She's great at explaining grammar, answering questions, and always recommends the best resources to keep improving outside the lessons. I really noticed the difference on a recent trip to Budapest with Spanish speaking friends. I spent the whole weekend speaking Spanish, and even a few people I met told me, "You can tell you learned from an Argentine teacher." That was probably the best compliment I could've received, and the clearest proof the lessons work. A great teacher and, beyond that, a wonderful person. Undoubtedly the Lionel Messi of italki. Can't recommend her enough.

I have taken about 30 lessons with Vanessa now, she is a wonderful teacher. We are able to speak about a variety of topics (culture, art, politics, movies, etc.) and I have improved my speaking and listening a lot under her guidance. She is very knowledgable about a variety of topics, and is great at providing translations of high-level words or concepts in English, when I don't know the Spanish. When I have requested a structured lesson on something grammatical that I didn't comprehend well (such as the Pretérito pluscuamperfecto de subjuntivo), she is always willing to provide this. She also has a great sense of humor and provides a fun, as well as professional, learning environment. I have made a lot of progress with this great teacher! Highly recommend

Marta is an excellent and professional tutor. She has a passion for teaching which shows through her lessons. For each class, Marta prepared interactive presentations tailored to my needs. This gave us a concrete foundation to work off of. However, do not let this structure convince you to underestimate Marta's agility in the classroom. In the times we went off script, I watched Marta nimbly switch gears. For example, when I spoke at length about one of my projects - she not only gave me real time feedback, but also prepared a list of phrases I used and corrections for how they could sound more fluent. It was especially helpful to see the words I just said written out and their fixes explained. I would highly recommend Marta to anyone interested in taking their language skills to the next level.

I have been working with Aliber for a few months to improve my conversational Spanish, and I couldn't ask for a better instructor. He is patient, flexible, and truly dedicated to helping his students improve. One aspect of his teaching that I find incredibly helpful is how effectively he uses the real-time text chat during our lessons to solidify what we are talking about. When you are learning a language, it is easy for things to get lost in translation while trying to speak, so seeing his questions or explanations in writing makes a massive difference. He also brings fresh, spontaneous games and quizzes to test my understanding on the fly. I originally just wanted a "sparring partner" to build up my speaking confidence, but Aliber goes above and beyond to offer so much more!

Eduardo is an excellent teacher and I would recommend him to anybody wanting to enhance their Spanish! I have an intermediate level of Spanish and I wanted to increase my skill and knowledge by reaching to an advanced level. Eduardo offers a great plan to achieve that goal. His lessons are very professional and he is very encouraging. He has been especially helpful with helping me with my subjunctive tenses as this is an area of weakness for me. He has been great at helping with this.

¡Josué es el mejor! Josué is a warm and kind teacher who always initiates great conversations, and asks questions to his students out of genuine curiosity. He creates a word bank after every lesson which is a great resource if you forget words and helps increase your vocabulary. I feel way more confident in my Spanish which has improved so much thanks to Josué.

First I have to say that I don’t speak Spanish at all, so I wanted to choose someone who would take on the challenge and teach me from scratch. Veronica is definitely a 10/10 choice. She is so patient and understanding, but also demanding. She is nice, cheerful and very focused during the lessons. I really enjoy learning with her. I never feel embarrassed about making mistakes, and somehow she makes learning Spanish feel fun rather than stressful. I’m very happy that I chose her. I really couldn’t ask for a better teacher. Highly recommended. ❤️

Angela is one of the best teachers I’ve had on this platform. I’ve taken over 2,000 classes with around 200 different teachers, so I have a lot of experience to compare her with. She’s excellent at maintaining a natural conversation and knows exactly when to correct me without interrupting the flow of the lesson. I also really appreciate that she always writes down new words and expressions during class, which makes it much easier to review and remember them afterward. Overall, Angela is an excellent teacher who makes lessons both productive and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
