I also have a Master's Degree in Psychology and have published a couple of books. I have worked in the mental health field and education and volunteered with autistic children, seniors, and the homeless. I love reading, traveling, and discovering new cultures. I have lived abroad and I know what it's like to be in your shoes when it comes to learning a new language because I'm a language learner myself.

Blanca is so encouraging and patient. Usually I can barely talk but she’s really helped me today. I finally feel like I can get the grammar from my head to my mouth. It’s so hard to speak with confidence because my brain doesn’t work fast enough. Blanca is able to help me bridge the gap which I know is the only way to begin speaking with any degree of confidence. I really enjoy her style a lot. I think you will too.

Blanca is the best Spanish teacher I have had on iTalki. She creates a balanced lesson time with open-structure conversation and more structured speaking exercises. She keeps track of what we worked on in each class, gives clear instructions for practice/homework between lessons, and picks back up at the next lesson. This consistency is great for my learning. She is also extremely patient, supportive, and understanding. She quickly corrects my mistakes and if she sees I'm making the same mistake over and over, she will explain the solution. I'm very grateful for Blanca!
