Hello there Arabic Learners! If you're an absolute beginner but hesitating to kick start learning Arabic, no worries, because starting easy and simple with basics will definitely break the ice. It's just about time. If you have a good grasp on the language but want to strengthen it even more, we could have normal conversations with a particular topic for each session. Take your time and feel comfortable to express yourself because I'll give you my notices only in the last 10 minutes. feel free during the session to ask any question you'd like a clear answer for. Other details would be addressed when we meet :) good luck

Mohammed is an extremely helpful and talented teacher who is always willing to review work or answer questions outside of class time. He is incredibly knowledgeable about MSA grammar and uses a great combination of explanations and examples. I would highly recommend him!

As usual, today's lesson with Mohammed was great. We mainly just had a conversation, pausing sometimes for Mohammed to explain a new word I hadn't know before. I appreciate Mohammed's patience, depth of knowledge, and attention to detail when addressing grammatical mistakes or explaining a pattern in the language.

Arabisch, so sagt man, ist eine sehr schwierige Sprache. Mit Muhammad als Lehrer und Gesprächspartner macht man aber trotzdem recht mühelos Fortschritte. Seit etwa 2.5 Monaten machen wir jede Woche eine Stunde. Mein Wortschatz wird immer grösser, Verben sind kein Problem mehr, und Sprechen wird immer einfacher. Ich bin kein Sprachtalent, um so mehr freue ich mich solche Fortschritte zu spüren.

Today was another great lesson with Mohammed, consisting mostly of conversation and reading. We discuss things going on in our lives and in the news, then continued reading the Lebanese short story that we have been reading. Some new words I learned included ميزانِيِّة (budget), مَجْلِس النّواب / مَجْلِس الشّيوخ (the House of Representatives / Senate), and عَيَّن قُضاة ([he] appointed judges).

Today was another great lesson with Mohammad. After catching up with freeflowing conversation in Arabic for a bit, we continued reading the text we have been reading, a short story written in Lebanese Arabic that takes place in Beirut. Mohammed helps me understand the more difficult parts of the reading as we go along, and we also pause occasionally to discuss the story and share our thoughts.

Today was another great lesson with Mohammed. He guided the lesson through free-flowing conversation in which I learned words like إعْصار (hurricane) and نَظَرِيِّة المؤامَرَة (conspiracy theory) to a reading session in which we made progress on the short story we are reading and I learned words like جبر (to put a cast on an injury) and قد ما كان (expression that can mean, "even if it is/was").
