Hi! I was born in Portugal and have been living here all my life. I have a Bachelors Degree in Languages and Communication and a Postgraduate in Teaching Portuguese as a Second Language.Me as a Teacher
I took Portuguese Linguistics, which allowed me to better understand portuguese grammar. As a teacher, my goal is to help you understand the language, to answer your questions and correct your pronunciation, essays, etc. I’m here to listen to you and help you with what we decide would be most important to work on/to improve.My lessons & teaching style
I like to discuss the lesson plan with the students, I don't usually decide it on my own. Whatever we do in class will depend on the student's needs and should be discussed beforehand. For that reason, I recommend doing a trial lesson (where we can get to know each other and talk about lesson plans and goals) before booking a package.My teaching material

We had another great lesson today after a three weeks' break. We finished the discussion on transportation and learnt the related prepositions em/de, then finished by practicing a dialogue. We also looked at some authentic train tickets and it is really helpful. I am looking forward to our next lesson!

So glad to meet Laura again after my long break. We finished the study on food and restaurant and moved on to study transportation. The content is useful and I am glad that Laura helps me to develop my own sentences and ideas. Muito obrigado!!

It's been quite a long time since my last lesson but I am glad that I can still follow the lesson well, thanks for Laura's well paced teaching. We finished the discussion on food and studied the demonstrative pronouns and adjectives. Obrigado!
