I really enjoyed my trial lesson with Andrea. She had me answer a certain variety of questions to get a feel for my current level of Spanish. From there, our time and conversation seemed to pass very naturally. By the end of our lesson she clearly had an idea for my current level and a formula for breaking barriers and improving my Spanish going forward. I definitely recommend taking a lesson with Andrea before she is completely booked. Do it now before it's too late!

Andrea is a first class language professional, with significant experience in both lesson structure and delivery, which comes through in every lesson. This allows for step by step expansion of comprehension and understanding of key grammar and pronunciation. I thoroughly enjoy our lessons and look forward to continuing this process.

Andrea is very helpful and explains the material well, she gives lots of examples and is kind when I get stuff wrong. She speaks very clearly and switches to English when I don't understand something complicated. She provided ebooks, audio exercises, and documents for me to learn as well as film/show recommendations to give me insights into the Chilean culture which I like. Our sessions are discussion-oriented and informal, she allows me ask lots of questions and doesn't mind if I interrupt her. ¡Una gran profesora!

I have met with Andrea three times already and plan to continue working with her on my Spanish. She has been able to provide a great balance of relaxed conversation and structured lessons that have helped me so much already. The usage of visuals, text, lesson plans, and other awesome resources is very helpful and it allows you to continue learning even after the lesson is over. I can’t recommend her enough. In our first meeting, she assessed what I need to work on and laid out a great plan, and now we meet weekly.

Andrea comes prepared for class and is flexible about student input into the most helpful strategies to learn. She integrates structured teaching methods effectively and is cheerful energetic and encouraging. she is the best teacher I have found and I am very motivated to go to the next level in my Spanish skills with her.
