I'm a conversational teacher with a strong emphasis on dialogue. I'm patient and I have a strong sense for when I should take the wheel and help you, and when I should let the student struggle a bit to get through their personal walls. I'm internally passionate and very interested, but externally calm.

I am passionate about languages and education. I have experience teaching both Icelandic and English, as well as teaching philosophy at the university level. My teaching philosophy is centered around communication. I believe in the power of oral proficiency as a foundation for language learning, and thus, my lessons are predominantly focused on helping you become confident and fluent in speaking Icelandic.
