Lessons for beginners to advanced. I also do translations and corrections I trained as a creative, doing campaigns for international brands. While I was studying in college back in Sweden, I used to teach French and English. As I now have been travelling around for more than a year, teaching languages is a good way of being active and meet new people at the same time. I only teach French and Swedish. English is a way to give discounts.

I’ve been learning how to speak a language in different ways (traditional- in school and natural-like a child) and the natural way is by far the most stimulating and motivating way. My classes will be mostly conversational because that is the most efficient way to reach your goal: To Speak Swedish! We will personalize every class to your abilities and goals. I can help you with everything from grammar, preparation for Swedish exams, new vocabulary etc. I am patient and understanding, I have been where you are, the hardest is to begin! Life is a constant learning process that never ends. Every day we are learning new things and improving as long as we stay curious and engaged.

Years of experience in language tutoring Do you want to practice applying your passive linguistic knowledge? Or are you a beginner looking for guidance? As someone who has tutored pupils from all walks of life, from absolute beginners to advanced learners, I can be of help at any stage. I can speak both formal and casual Finnish and Swedish, and I recommend that you specify which one you want to practice. Although I'm quite familiar with grammatical and other theory, I try to teach everything through context to make it meaningful. That way learning is engaging and fun, and it's easier to wrap one's head around things that way. I value that pupil enjoys the learning process and gets to freely choose the conversation topics.

A becoming teacher in Swedish as a second language and PE As a teacher I am engaging and caring. I care about students' needs and I do my best in order to help students to reach their goals. A good teacher gives room for the student to speak and to think, and that is what I aim to do when teaching. I get exited every time I can successfully learn a student something new and see a development, it is very rewarding to me. My strengths are my own background as language learner since I know how one can learn a language depending on whether it is supposed to be used in social contexts or at school in more academic situations.

As a teacher, I think it's really important to be patient and a good listener as I think it's important to listen to my students and their needs. My goal is therefore to make the students speak providing them a very relaxing atmosphere focusing mainly on their subjects of interest so that they can feel comfortable and motivated to talk about the things they like the most.

Swedish Lessons Based on Psychological Science and Polyglot Experience - Flashcard Deck Every Lesson ✅ If you don't speak English, no problem. I can understand Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German and Japanese. I can teach you Swedish/English/Spanish using these languages (as support languages). My method is combining psychological science and personal experience in order to build an increasingly complex (nuanced) model for learning languages. Aside from conversing with my students and "intellectualizing" the language (discussing grammar etc.) I like to help the student to start to build his or her own model for learning languages. I want my students to become more and more independent in their learning. I am also a student of psychology at the University of Linköping in Sweden.

Native Swedish speaker that wants to make your learning journey fun! If learning isn't fun, it's difficult to keep it going in the long run. I also know from my own experience how nervous you can get in the beginning, making it even more difficult to find the words. That's why I try to keep it light and relaxed while being as encouraging as possible. I don't consider myself as a teacher, more as an encouraging friend that can help you on your way to learn the Swedish language and culture.

Your Swedish teacher My students start speaking Swedish with me and continue doing it in daily life in Sweden which helps them integrate into the Swedish society and boost their confidence. I've had the joy of guiding students to pass the YKI test, marking their successful language journey. I take pride in seeing my students flourish, gaining proficiency and ease in a new language.

Öppenhjärtliga och nära samtal. Erbjuder interaktiva grammatiklektioner för nybörjare. I place high value on creating a safe space for students to explore making mistakes and play with the Swedish language. Learning a language is deeply personal and I hope to create that space for you. It's important for me to get to know you and build a connection while we go deeper into the Swedish language. I think that the harder parts of learning a language becomes a lot easier if you have a supporting tutor that will push you through if you have doubts. I love documentaries and hope to share some interesting topics for us to explore together. Please note: -All lessons follow the italki's 24 hour cancellation policy.

I like to be as responsive to the students requests as possible so depending on why they are learning the language I like to adjust the lessons. My personal belief (and also how I learn myself) is that the best way to learn is to be engaging with the language while having fun. I also encourage my students to dig deeper into the culture as this will really help them grow in the language I like recommending movies songs etc. As a person and as a teacher I am the one that tries to get through every day/task with a smile.

Since I have studied languages myself, I know about the struggles of learning them - I have been and am still going through that process. And after almost three years of teaching on italki, I have realised that my strengths in teaching Swedish lies in helping my students relax and make them feel comfortable. Usually you have more understandings than you might know but it is your nerves that holds you back.

University Professor holding an MA in Language Acquisition I strongly believe that for a successful learning, the student has to enjoy the classes: this is why my goal is to adapt the teaching depending on your needs, interests and previous knowledge and, according to my students, I'm pretty good at it! For me, learning a new language is like undertaking an exciting journey into the unknown, discovering new cultures, creating bridges between people and enriching our world view, therefore, I sincerely expect that you'll enjoy your journey!

Mostly Conversation Practice! Speak it till you make it! As a teacher I always try to figure out what each individual person needs to practice. That is why I like to have a simple conversation the first lesson and ask what the student wants to study and see what level they are in. I always try to make the lesson contents according to the students level. While teaching I always try to make sure my students speaks and expresses themselves as much as possible and I'll always encourage them and also fill in the blanks to give them a little push so they won't be stopping in the middle of the sentence.
