I like to be as responsive to the students requests as possible so depending on why they are learning the language I like to adjust the lessons. My personal belief (and also how I learn myself) is that the best way to learn is to be engaging with the language while having fun. That is why I like to have a simple conversation the first lesson and ask what the student wants to study and see what level they are in. I always try to make the lesson contents according to the students level.
