On a personal note, I preferred to let the heavy rain passed before going home or doing errands. Rain can be calming at times but at its extreme level -this can posed danger specially on the roads. However, if can’t be helped the needs to go out or got caught in the rain on the way home I would choose to use transportation apps. In that way it would be convenient.

However, if I need to go out or I get caught in the rain on the/my way home, I would choose to use transportation apps. That would be more convenient.

On a personal note, I prefer to let the heavy rain pass before going home or doing errands. Rain can be calming at times. However at an extreme level, it can pose a danger while navigating on roads. However, I would still choose to use transportation apps. I can still move around while at my leisure.

I removed un needed wordage and fixed some basic grammatical errors. It’s subjective, but I would say it like this.
