im answering again lol, but both are correct. they don’t necessarily have a different meaning in that context. saying “yes” is just giving extra confirmation that you are interested!

Both "I am" and "Yes, I am" are correct responses, and they convey the same meaning: that you are interested. However, there are slight differences in tone and emphasis: "I am" A shorter, more casual response. It directly answers the question but can feel slightly less formal. "Yes, I am" A bit more formal and emphatic because of the inclusion of "Yes." It adds an extra level of clarity and politeness. In casual conversations, either is perfectly fine, but "Yes, I am" might be better in formal or professional contexts. Would you like examples of when to use each? 😊

Yes I am/ I am: this is kind-of ok in conversation, as this is how people speak to each other informally. But in written English it needs more. Because technically, the verb ‘to be’ needs ‘to be something’. You can’t just ‘be’. For example: I am sad, I am 21 etc. So it sounds a bit odd to say this verb without another word. ‘I am interested’ or ‘I would like to hear more’ would be better here in written English, but as I said, honestly in informal conversation ‘I am’ is most likely how a native speaker would say it.

Both "I am" and "Yes, I am" are correct responses, and their meaning is essentially the same. However, there is a slight difference in tone and emphasis: 1. "I am": This is shorter and more to the point. It works well in casual or informal conversations, especially when you're trying to keep the reply concise. 2. "Yes, I am": Adding "Yes" makes the response slightly more formal or emphatic. It's also a little warmer and polite, so it might be more suitable in professional or polite contexts. Tip: If you want to sound a bit more conversational, you could extend your response with a follow-up, like: - "Yes, I am! Could you tell me more?" - "I am! Thanks for asking." This keeps the dialogue flowing and shows enthusiasm.
