Could someone tell me what is the meaning of the verb "trollop" in this piece of poetry:
"We haven’t a camelty tune of our own
To help us trollop along,
But every neck is a hairy trombone
(Rtt-ta-ta-ta! is a hairy trombone!) "
This extract is from Her Majesty's Servants in the First Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling.
Thanks in advance for your help!
