I haven't heard that term used much, but someone might say "I have a clean driver's license." This means that they don't have any traffic violations or accidents, and therefore they don't have any "points" on their license. In the US, if you cause an accident or have some other violation while driving, you might get points added to your license. If you get more than a certain number of points, your license is taken away. So if your license is "clean" you're probably saying you have no points, or no traffic violations.

I guess that means you have a good record in your driving license.

Hi Alexander,

A 'Clean Driving Licence' means not having any penalty points.

You receive penalty points for dangerous driving. For example:

- Speeding (driving too fast)

- Drink driving (driving after drinking alcohol)

...and more!

Otherwise you may say, the record on my driving license is clean, not any violation record.
