my answers in speaking part of IELTS examination I need someone to correct my answers. ^_^ 1.What is you major? My major is accounting, which is very professional major. 2.Why did you choose this major? I'm careful and patient. I picked accounting because it seems like something I would be good at and would get me a good job out of university.Now I do find it very interesting and suitable to me. 3.Why do you like accounting? I love to make things balance, and I feel fulfilled when I make everything balance perfectly, bringing them all together for one big picture of the whole operation. That's why I enjoy studying it. 4.Why do you think accounting is the most important major? Because people who study accounting can be an accountant after graduation,and accountants can be valuable members of any business operation. More than just “number crunchers ,” accountants can provide financial guidance, insights and advice that can help a business grow and prosper.

Hi Grace, you have done very well, but I think you might be lacking some specific business vocabulary. It would be helpful to obtain a business English textbook at this point in your studies.

1.What is your major?

My major is accounting, which is very one of the professions major. [The professions are accountant, lawyer, doctor]

2.Why did you choose this major?

I'm careful and patient. I picked accounting because it seems like something I would be good at and would help me get me a good job out of university ["out of university" is an American spoken expression. It might be better to write, "after leaving university"]. Now Actually, I do find it very interesting and it suits to me.

3.Why do you like accounting?

I love to make things balance, and I feel fulfilled when I make everything balance perfectly, bringing them all together for one big picture of the whole operation. That's why I enjoy studying it accounting.

4.Why do you think accounting is the most important major?

Because people who study accounting can become a licensed an accountant after graduation, and accountants can be are valuable members of any business operation. More than just “number crunchers”, accountants can provide financial guidance, insights and advice that can help a business grow and prosper.
