At first the underground escalator rules was "stand right, walk left" in Shanghai China, but latter because municipality afraid of passengers who walk at left may bring the risk to bump the children and pregnant women who stand at right, especially when some holidays many people will carry big bags in hands, they banned walking on the escalator. Aslo, although many city in China have not forbidden walking on the underground escalators, in many situation, both sides of escalators are full of people. Because during the rush hour the amount of people in China undergrounds is obviously more than western countries with low density of population. If people only stand in the right, the space is not enough. Additionally, most China metros not only have escalator at station, but aslo have spacious staircases for those who be in a hurry and want to run fast. Moreover, standing both sides of escalator has another benefit that the weight of passengers is more evenly distributed, which can reduce unbalanced harm to gears and other mechanical parts under the escalators, result in longer mechanical service life. However, if people are not so much, most chinese people will queue up consciously at right at metro escalators.

You did a very good job. At first, the underground escalator rule was to "stand right, walk left" in Shanghai, China. However, later, they banned walking on the escalators because the municipality was concerned that holiday shoppers with huge bags, who walk on the left, might bump into children or pregnant women standing on the right. Also, although many cities in China have not forbidden walking on the underground escalators, in any situation, both sides of the escalators are full of people. During the rush hour, the number of people in China's underground metros is significantly more than in Western countries with a lower population density. If people only stand on the right, the escalators cannot accommodate everyone. Additionally, most metros in China have escalators and spacious staircases for those in a hurry who want to run fast. Moreover, standing on both sides of the escalator has another benefit. The weight of passengers is more evenly distributed, reducing damage to gears and other mechanical parts under the escalators, resulting in extended mechanical service. However, when it's not busy, most Chinese people automatically stand on the right when riding the metro escalators.

At first the underground escalator rules were simply "stand right, walk left" in Shanghai ,China, but later because The Municipality were afraid of passengers who walk on the left increasing the risk for children and pregnant women who stand on the right, especially during holidays when many people carry big bags in their hands, they banned walking on the escalator. Although many cities in China haven’t forbidden walking on the underground escalators, in many situations, both sides of the escalators are full of people. During rush hour the amount of people in China’s Underground, is obviously more than western countries with low density population. If people only stand on the right, the space is very limited Additionally, most China Metro stations, not only have escalators at the station, but also have spacious staircases for those who are in a hurry and want to move quicker. Moreover, standing on both sides of the escalator is beneficial because the weight of the passengers is evenly distributed, which can reduce harm to the mechanical parts under the escalators, resulting in longer mechanical service life. However, if less people use Metro, then most of the Population will queue up consciously on the right side of the Metro escalators.
Good Job, just work on your tenses and shortening your sentences, with less verbs and more concise words. Otherwise, Good Job. ☺️

Good luck!
