what's the difference between gonna and gotta ? i love to watch American movies.I can't recongnize the difference of the two words' pronunciation when I was watching movies without any title. so please help me to explain the difference between the two words.and make examples with each one.Thank you in advance.

hi~ hope my answer can help u. gonna = going to for example, i'm gonna go shopping with my friends. = i'm going to go shopping with my friends. gotta = have to for example, i gotta leave now. = i have to leave now. J

"Gonna" is slang for "going to" as in "I am going to do something" and "Gotta" is slang for "have to" as in "I have to do something". ex. I'm gonna go to the movies. I gotta do the laundry. I hope this helps!

gonna = going to gotta = got to / have got to There is no need for examples, and these two words are clear in meaning and totally different to each other.
