Look, I know a guy that his last name is Mikos, because it was translated from arabic to Portuguese, the language spoken in my country, so, I think in arabic it may be something like that : مِكُسْ , but, I used tashkeel to represent the vowels sound. I think ميكوس is right,مِكُسْ is very wrong.
and it depends on how you pronounce this name in Portuguese.

when you write "Mikos" now,is it in English or Portuguese?

hi I think it must be ميقوس but letter ق substituted by k which is كـ in Arabic because there is no ق sound in your language
