what does 'lamo' meaning in this context? Does it make any sense? A: or is it more like you think you're doing something really stupid, then you weigh the chances of getting away with it, and if it's better than ten percent, you go for it. B: yeah! A: That's why you're grounded for two months. B: yeah. A: Well if it makes you feel any better, I did some pretty lamo things in my day. Question: These're lines from an old American soap opera, Growing Pains. I've heard of the word 'lame', but never 'lamo'. I reckon in this context 'lamo' means 'stupid', but I'm not sure. And I was wondering if 'lamo' has a similar meaning to 'lame'?

Lamo is also known as lame-o. Adding 'o' kind of intensifies the quality of being lame. A: How was your weekend? B: Nothing special. I just lazed around and watched DVDs. A: Lame-o! You should have gone trekking with me.

lamo = lame Do something lame = do something pretty stupid We sometimes add an "oh" to adjectives. I don't recommend making a habit of it though, it would sound a bit ridiculous. biggo, smallo, lamo, weirdo, etc.... I think the style comes from an older style of writing folk songs. Check out a few. They are riddled with "oh" endings.

"Stupid"", is probably a pretty good description. "Lame" is an idiom and "lamo" is like making slang out of the idiom. It means the same thing.
