Godetiti and Divertiti The ending of both these "to enjoy" expressions interest me..the (TITI) at the end! Now, I understand you are expressing this to TI (sei) but instead of GODERTI, you guys say GODERTITI. Is there a reason why this occurs? Also, in what other ways can this be used or is it only used for expressing "hope"? Could I put any reflexive verb at the end..for instance GODERTIVI? Thanks!

Who say /godertiti/ ? Your premise is wrong, this is NOT an Italian verbal voice. godersi: Io mi godo la vita qui sulle spiagge del Mozambico. Tu ti godi Lei si gode ... Essi si godono Other examples: -- divertitevi a Disneyland! -- godetevi il viaggio -- andateci piano a Las Vegas (don't be too excited) -- goditi questo film di Ricky Gervais, a me e` piaciuto molto! -- godiamoci insieme un concerto di Bach. So, when you go to the place, at first ''DIVERTITI'' with relax and wellness, at second ''GODITELA'' (enjoy the fun!).
