1) In everyday Chinese, we rarely say 拥有.
2) 拥有 is not used for anything that is not very valuable or important, even in formal Chinese.
e.g. 我有10块钱. We never say 我拥有10块钱.
but we may say 比尔盖茨拥有数百亿美元财产.
Hope this helps.

The meanings are pretty much the same, they all mean "have", but "拥有" is more formal and is not commonly used in everyday conversations, so, basically you can use "有" in most cases.

"拥有"is far more formal way to say.
eg:we all share the same dream.
我们拥有同一个梦想
but you could also say:我们有同一个梦想。
Actually,just use "有"is most cases.
