What does this lyrics mean? (Sometimes by Chelsea Cutler) Hey guys! Recently, I like song, sometimes by Chelsea Cutler. And there are lyrics I couldn't fully understand. Could you help me to understand what this means? 'The colors you see have become lost on me' It's out of from following context. Tell me it's over, at least I'm closer This weight on my neck makes it hard to connect And I'm staring at my feet again I don't think they know it, how bad I'm broken The colors you see have become lost on me And I can't find the route of the bleed I kind of understand in this way. The way people look at me makes me lost(? basically different from who I really am?) Here the color is blood color? or just meaning the way people think Hope you have a great weekend!

She is implying that she is no longer able to experience emotions (love, happiness, joy, fun, etc) like a normal person would experience them. “The colors” are a range of normal human emotions. She is “broken” emotionally, therefore she cannot see the “colors” that other who have not been broken can see.

I believe the colors represent her emotions. Her emotions have been all mixed together and she isn't sure what is causing her to feel lost and confused.

--I think the lyrics are slightly off. The last line should read "root" instead of "route." And it's not bleed as in blood but rather when a dye or color seeps from one area into another, i.e., washing a red shirt and a white shirt together and the white shirt ends up pink. --"The root of the bleed" = the cause for the colors to mix together. --Colors as metaphors to describe people is a bit too abstract for me to be able to adequately describe, though. Maybe someone else can help with that?
