Hi! I'm Sofie from Germany and have pretty much experienced the same as you did, I've been learning English in school for several years, then started French in school as well three years ago and I'm currently studying Spanish. I personally want to improve my Spanish first and then move to Chinese, Sign Language and either Swedish or Norwegian, so not so much a language that is spoken in a country very close to German but that either seems to be very useful (for traveling etc) or whose country's culture I just like. So I'd definitely like to learn a bunch of different languages, represented in different countries and continents, which seem interesting to me.
Of course, everyone has their own preferences and therefore, I'd suggest you to learn what you most want to (depending on your interest in the country where people speak the language or the sound of the language) because this is how we learn and improve the fastest.
I hope this helps and I'm eager to hear what you think :)
