Juana

Juana is patient and encouraging. This was my first session, but I know I am going to learn a lot from her.

Gracias, Juana! Me encanta hablar contigo porque cada vez hablamos de cosas muy interesantes y importantes. Es una buena oportunidad para practicar una variedad de vocabulario y estructuras gramáticas. Hasta la próxima! :)

Juana was awesome!! She had obviously read my profile in advance and made sure to make me practice the things I struggled with, but in a fun, conversational way! She would correct me when I erred and would explain the why’s behind conjugations. I really enjoyed my time with her! You can tell she’s a very experienced teacher.

Everyone should work with a teacher to best learn what they would like in Spanish. I knew grammar from French. Just like children learn to speak before reading and writing, I have learned to speak Spanish. Juana has guided me through this.

We talked about the holidays coming up in Nica and the US. We cover a lot of different topics. I mostly practice speaking which I really like. I have finally learned a 2nd language without thinking in English first.
