Hello! My name is Jemima, I am from Montevideo Uruguay. I have been living in Brazil for a few years with my husband and my son. I am a very communicative and sociable person, and that is partly why I have chosen this profession. I really like activities that have to do with creativity and imagination, and that is reflected in my classes. I really enjoy teaching my mother language. Olá! Meu nome é Jemima, sou de Montevidéu, Uruguai. Moro no Brasil há alguns anos com meu marido e meu filho. Sou uma pessoa muito comunicativa e sociável, e é em parte por isso que escolhi esta profissão. Ficarei muito feliz em lhe ajudar a aprender minha língua materna, o espanhol!

I consider that patience and good humor in class are very important, along with an efficient methodology that adapts to the real circumstances of the student. That is why I strive so that my students have a pleasant and practical learning experience, and in this way achieve the goal of speaking Spanish fluently. Considero que a paciência e o bom humor nas aulas são muito importantes, juntamente com uma metodologia eficiente que se adapta às circunstâncias reais do aluno. É por isso que me esforço para que meus alunos tenham uma experiência de aprendizado agradável e prática, e assim alcancem o objetivo de falar espanhol fluentemente.

The materials I use are very diverse, I am mainly interested in arousing curiosity and stimulating the will to learn. The materials I use are quite diverse, my primary focus is to spark curiosity and stimulate the desire to learn. Teaching Spanish through stories has shown great progress among my students and they love! Os materiais que utilizo são muito diversos, interessa-me sobretudo despertar a curiosidade e estimular a vontade de aprender. Ensinar espanhol por meio de histórias é excelente para todos os níveis, os alunos progridem muito rápido e adoram!

Jemima é uma ótima professora, calma e organizada que está me ajudando a falar espanhol corretamente. Eu trabalho com muitos latinos e precisava falar no mesmo nível que entendo. Com muitos exercícios estamos estudando todos os detalhes dos tempos verbais para que seja possível falar e escrever corretamente.
