Hello! Welcome to my profile :) I'm Shruti and I come from rainy England. If you're thinking of travelling to or living in an English speaking country then you're in the right place! If you're a prospective student who wants to speak to peers without shyness then you're in the right place too! If you're looking for a teacher who can guide you, understand you and maybe even speak your language then you're definitely in the right place!

ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน

I have taught students of all ages from the very young to more senior adults so I know how needs are different for each individual. As a teacher, I want my students to ask silly questions and make mistakes in my class. How else will we gain confidence and succeed? If you need to work on something, I have a lesson for it in my trusty lesson library! I do my best to adapt to whatever my students request. I have experience prepping students for the IELTS and I also give structured English classes and open conversation classes. Whether your level is beginner, elementary, intermediate, upper intermediate or advanced, I can take you all the way through from A1 to C2 if you need :).

I like to teach my students on a platform with lessons tailored to their needs. My platform is interactive and easy to use for the students plus I can deliver complete lessons and include homework. I give my classes in a relaxed manner as I want my students to feel open to asking questions and sharing what they find challenging during their learning journey. Language learning is essential in this world if you want to connect to the rest of the world— even without travelling! It’s a great way to learn and understand the cultures that are different to our own and, of course, there is an unbeatable sense of achievement when you’re able to use your skills :).

Bachelor’s - French and PoliticsUniversity of NottinghamI studied French and Politics as a joint honours degree. 50% of my studies were focused on learning about French language, politics, economy, art and history. I spent one year teaching English with the British Council as part of my degree. The other 50% was studying political theories and thought and international policy. I spent the rest of my academic credits on studying anthropology, Portuguese and Spanish.
