It is always a pleasure talking with Lucas! I think that we have broached every subject imaginable during our many conversations over the last few years. As a teacher, Lucas is patient and strategic in how he deals with student errors. I feel that his feedback has been invaluable in making me a more proficient Spanish speaker. Even though I STILL make many mistakes with the subjunctive, it takes only the slightest prompt from Lucas for me to self-correct. I would unequivocally recommend him to anyone seeking a superb Spanish instructor. That I'm approaching my 300th lesson with him says it all!

I just noticed I've now done more than 100 classes with Lucas. It is a testament to how great a teacher he is, and how easy it is to talk with him. He has definitely brought me out of my shell and I feel a lot more confident in speaking and communicating now. Gracias por aguantarme durante estas clases :)

It has been many months since I took my last lesson with Lucas, so it was great to talk with him again. Lucas hasn't changed in the intervening period. He is still a superb interlocutor, and his style of correction is still discreet, allowing us to maintain the flow of the conversation. I am inching toward my 300th lesson with him. The fact that I have been taking lessons with him off and on for five years is a testament to his effectiveness as a teacher and to his kindness as a person!

Sr. Lucas works with both of our kids age 12 and 14 and has been a huge asset. He is very organized and takes his work seriously and works to differentiate the kind of approach he takes with each child. They are advanced Spanish learners, so we are grateful for the level that he is able to help them continue to advance and grow in reading, writing and speaking.
