June tailors our classes to fit my needs exactly. She perfectly blends a good amount of reading, speaking, and listening into our lessons on day to day and deep conversational topics. I have been seeing June regularly for the past few years (albiet not as often as I should) and I am so happy with my progress. I can now read essentially basic chinese (menus, text messages, books with my daughter), my listening comprehension has improved greatly, and I am able to converse and express myself. She is an amazing teacher, I highly recommend her

I have been learning Chinese with June for six months, and I am very happy with our lessons. She always adapts to my needs and explains everything patiently, no matter how many times I ask. June also shares interesting stories about life in China and its culture, which makes learning even more exciting. I appreciate that she takes my interests to help me dive further into language learning. I’m really fascinated by the characters and how common radicals can connect similar words. She took the time to show me more examples of this with different radicals across many different words.
