I offer lessons for languages, Afrikaans and English, but I also offer lessons in Computer Applications technology. I am 19 years old and I live in Johannesburg ,South Africa. I love teaching and sharing my experience with others. I am trustworthy and loyal to the people that I love and who love me. I am native in Afrikaans and English with 12 years of educated experience and I would love to help you as a student achieve your goals and reach your full potential. I will make my lessons fun and worth every minute. You can trust me to teach you with accuracy. I am patient , because I understand that learning a new language is difficult and time consuming. I will find ways to help you efficiently and I will teach you in such a manner in which you are comfortable. I will be using lessons that involve: Basic conversation practice, common words and phrases, parts of speech, literature and many more according to your level of fluency. I also provide Chapters with themes that each contain dialogues, grammar lessons and exercises to test yourself. I can easily adjust to your requests on how you want to learn and what you want to learn in your specific lesson, but I will always be ready with a lesson for you. I also provide notes during the lesson. If you were to book a lesson for Computer Application technology, I will share my screen to physically show you how to do a certain task. I recently had a trial lesson in Afrikaans, and I was thoroughly impressed. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, which made the learning process enjoyable. The lesson was well-structured, and I felt like I made significant progress in just one session. I appreciated the emphasis on pronunciation and cultural context. I'm excited to continue my Afrikaans journey with this excellent teacher!

Second lesson with Jayden and it was very fun. He goes at a very steady pace and periodically asks if you're still doing okay with the lesson so far. Jayden is very attentive and allows you time to speak/ask questions. He gives ample opportunities to practice the pronunciation as well~ Counting down to the next lesson!

I am amazed at how much content I cover in an hour-long Afrikaans lesson with Jayden. While using textbooks as a structure for the lesson, he is flexible and allows enough time to make “detours” into interesting topics or the (many) questions I have around grammar and sentence structure. I find I am learning a lot each time we speak and am developing quickly, so I look forward to working with him in the coming weeks and months so that I am ready for my next visit to South Africa!
