Jayden Mollett

I recently had a trial lesson in Afrikaans, and I was thoroughly impressed. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, which made the learning process enjoyable. The lesson was well-structured, and I felt like I made significant progress in just one session. I appreciated the emphasis on pronunciation and cultural context. I'm excited to continue my Afrikaans journey with this excellent teacher!

Jayden is a highly intelligent and organized teacher. He makes an energetic presentation, has a very likeable manner, and pronounces Afrikaans in a way that is crystal clear and perfectly audible.

I am amazed at how much content I cover in an hour-long Afrikaans lesson with Jayden. While using textbooks as a structure for the lesson, he is flexible and allows enough time to make “detours” into interesting topics or the (many) questions I have around grammar and sentence structure. I find I am learning a lot each time we speak and am developing quickly, so I look forward to working with him in the coming weeks and months so that I am ready for my next visit to South Africa!

Second lesson with Jayden and it was very fun. He goes at a very steady pace and periodically asks if you're still doing okay with the lesson so far. Jayden is very attentive and allows you time to speak/ask questions. He gives ample opportunities to practice the pronunciation as well~ Counting down to the next lesson!
