Namaste! I am Sanchita from Lucknow, a city in North India with a rich and colorful history and a beautiful, syncretic culture. I am a linguaphile, storyteller, ex-journo, and teacher with 15 years of experience in Hindi & English communication. I teach Hindi & English at all levels. I believe learning a language is like opening the door to a new, rich cultural experience. It can’t be complete without understanding the socio-cultural contexts in which a language has grown and evolved. I am currently learning several languages. I am also a published author. My short stories & articles have been published in Hindustan Times (newspaper), TES Orbit (magazine), Spark (online magazine).ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
My journey as a teacher started with my job at the Institute for Career Studies in 2020. I trained Grade 10, 11 and 12 students to prepare for university entrance tests. I mentored them, helping them improve their communication skills and learn how to give their best in group discussions & interviews. Later, in June 2022, while still working at my full-time job, I joined the Duolingo Global Ambassador community as a teacher. I took classes during my free time and hosted regular sessions for attendees from Europe and the US – receiving a solid 5-star rating. The rich cultural exchange and global exposure that I gained in these classes, prompted me to make this my permanent vocation.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I like partnering with my students as a friend. My sessions are conducted in an environment of open & two-way communication, keeping in view the learning pace and convenience of each student. I encourage them to ask questions – not just about grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation or other aspects of the language, but also about India – its ancient heritage, cultural wealth, rich diversity, people, topography, history, and place in the modern world. I regularly seek feedback and suggestions from students to tweak my teaching style, if required, and customize the lesson plan to best suit their needs. I use a variety of formats – storytelling, videos, presentations, etc. – to deliver my lessons.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

Sanchita ji is an amazing tutor! She was very quick to gauge my language skill set and review needs, and creates specific lessons that help me to learn and practice the ins and outs of Hindi grammar, pronunciation, and more. Sanchita ji is also very adaptable and will stop to answer any of my questions and explain new concepts and phrases that come up while we discuss the lesson at hand. I've had many Hindi teachers throughout my life, but she is easily one of the best!

Finally a bit of time to get back to Hindi, I have learned 4 or 5 new forms of verbs and their meanings, which is exciting, and then did a quiz with translations of several forms of the same verbs with different tenses, including sayings! It feels good to come back to it :) Thank you Sanchita!

Another great class with Sanchita - we have reviewed my homework, my storytelling about my trip to Malta, she showed me more local ways to express what I was saying which is helpful and then we have read a story from Mahabharata, reading it in Devnagari then translating to English, now I have questions to answer for the next class - Thank you so much again Sanchita!
