Carlos 🚀

Carlos is not only very knowledgable- he knows his business- he is also engaging, upbeat, and funny. I feel lucky to have found him. You should take advantage of the study tools he has created. His ANKI decks are worth the price of admission. His creation will save you HOURS of toil were you to make these decks yourself.

I have been working with Carlos for a while, today we pretended we did not know each other well and he spoke no English so I directed the conversation entirely in Spanish and described words I did not know the Spanish for. It was a very useful exercise for speaking to others who may not know any English.

It was just a trial lesson, but the teacher seems very organized and well-versed! He was thorough with explanations and did a great job keeping me engaged!

Carlos is a teacher. And a good one. While this may appear to be damning with faint praise, it is the highest compliment I can give. I am part of a family of educators and so I understand how difficult it is to teach effectively. Carlos does just that, and he does so in an easy and very engaging manner. I came to Carlos after spending more than two frustrating years learning Spanish on Duolingo, and after a few short lessons, things I had struggled with became much clearer. He immediately understood my struggles and built a custom program to fill in all the missing parts. I am confident my path to mastering Spanish is with Carlos. I give him the highest of recommendations.

Profesor Carlos did a great job for my first trial session evaluating my current abilities and being transparent with all the questions I asked. He showed up on time and was great at giving feedback. I like the idea of having homework and anki flashcards to reinforce the language - because most of the learning occurs outside the classroom.

After having a number of initial sessions with other tutors, I have found the one that best suits my learning style and provides me with the energy and resources I need to stay engaged. Carlos’ curriculum is very thought out and you can tell he put a lot of effort into making learning go as smoothly as possible. He took the time to understand the level I am currently at with the language and literally drew me a roadmap on how we’re going to get me to the level that I’m working toward. As soon as we hung up from my trial session, I went to the main page and booked 5 sessions with him.
