Hi, my name is Grace. I am from Taiwan. I am currently teaching Chinese courses at Minnesota State University, Mankato in the United States. I got my first master’s degree in Children’s English Education at National Taipei University of Education. I am now pursuing my second Master’s degree in TESOL at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I also completed a teacher training course at National Taiwan Normal University and earned a certificate for teaching Chinese as a second language. I love doing outdoor activities and binge-watching movies and series. I have a sweet tooth and strawberry ice-cream is my all-time favorite.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I’ve always been very passionate about teaching since the very first time I tutored my cousin for his schoolwork. I have been teaching English to students aged 4-15 years old in Taiwan, Shanghai, and Guam, USA both virtually and physically in the classrooms for many years. During my English teaching journey, I planned and tailored unique lesson plans and activity-based learning programs for each classroom. I cared for a good classroom atmosphere and incorporated culture, history, and storytelling into regular classrooms. Another great lesson. After studying written Chinese on my own, I needed a teacher to help me sort and expand my knowledge. Grace's lessons are really helpful, well organized and it's always nice to talk to her. Also, the material she provides is excellent.

What a great first lesson with Grace! I really enjoyed it. The lesson was very interactive and engaging. Since she has a friendly and bubbly personality, it helped to create a comfortable atmosphere. I'm a little shy when I speak in Chinese, but I felt okay with her and with making mistakes. She seems to have a lot of patience.
The lesson was structured very well. You can tell that she spends time really thinking about the lessons beforehand in order to deliver a great lesson. I got a lot of good speaking practice during the lesson and some writing practice.
I think that I can definitely make a lot of improvements with my Chinese by taking lessons with her. I look forward to our future lessons together!
