Manuela Restrepo

Manuela is a great teacher! Big professional. My 6 y.o daughter is super happy with her and waiting impatiently the next lesson. Manuela was able to find quickly the common ground with her, the lessons are captivating and pretty fun: they review different materials, reading books, singing songs and even watching the favorite cartoons of your children and then discussing it. Everything is done so your child won't get bored and was focused always on the lesson. Additionally I’d like to emphasize the very detailed report that Manuela sends after every single lesson: what has been done, which material was reviewed, the challenges and what the child was good at. I’ve never faced the teacher on Italki that does similar reporting. I would really like to recommend her for those who is looking for a great Spanish teacher for his children (or for himself😃)

Manuela is our favorite teacher. She is good at assessing kids and finding out their interests and caters their lessons each time using various topics to expose them in various contents. I will be am so glad we found her and I look forward to continuing working with her. She also provides detailed feedback so I know what they are working on. 😀

Manuela is an excellent teacher. She is very friendly, a good conversationalist and she corrects my mistakes. I highly recommend her!

Manu is a kind and attentive teacher. She has quickly adapted to my level and helps me a lot to improve. The lesson is normally a conversation about a random topic which is not only fun and interesting, but she always makes sure to teach me some grammar and vocab to help me reach my language goal in an effective way. The class always has a nice flow and if I stuck at some point I always receive help and encouragement. I really enjoy these classes, thank you.

Manuela is a very nice person and a great teacher. She is always prepared, has a plan of actions suitable for a level of a student. Our kiddo really likes interacting and studying with her.

My daughter, age 11, has been studying Spanish at home for many years eclectically because we do no have a native Spanish Speaker at home. She has been taking weekly lessons with Manuela for 4 months. It has been amazing for her to have a native Spanish speaker to talk to. Manuela is a perfect fit for us. She provides a wide variety of activities for my daughter to try and choose from. She adjusts the lessons on the fly if they're not working or not engaging. She incorporates grammar seamlessly like you would teach your child their first language without focusing the lesson on grammar. She is so patient and encouraging that my daughter is very comfortable speaking in Spanish and making many mistakes and learning from them. My daughter looks forward to her lesson every week and even though it is an hour long she says it always goes by so fast for her and she never gets tired out. I can hear her speaking Spanish almost the whole time. We cannot recommend Manuel highly enough!!
