Manuela Restrepo

I have 2 sons (6 and 4) who have been taking classes with Manuela for the past 3-4 months. I will just share what I sent Manuela directly the day after Thanksgiving: thank you for providing us with this detailed report of the boys’ progress. we have a holiday (yesterday) in the US called thanksgiving where we think about all the things we are thankful for. I have to say that it has been incredible to find you as a Spanish teacher for the boys and we are very thankful for the time and energy and thoughtfulness you put into teaching them. we were very worried that A____ and A_____ would forget their Spanish after we moved them to an all English school in September. but it is incredible to see that BOTH of their Spanish has improved greatly!

Manuela is our favorite teacher. She is good at assessing kids and finding out their interests and caters their lessons each time using various topics to expose them in various contents. I will be am so glad we found her and I look forward to continuing working with her. She also provides detailed feedback so I know what they are working on. 😀

Manu is a kind and attentive teacher. She has quickly adapted to my level and helps me a lot to improve. The lesson is normally a conversation about a random topic which is not only fun and interesting, but she always makes sure to teach me some grammar and vocab to help me reach my language goal in an effective way. The class always has a nice flow and if I stuck at some point I always receive help and encouragement. I really enjoy these classes, thank you.

This teacher did a wonderful job with my young child! The teacher was well-prepared with games and activities that were very engaging for my child for the entire lesson. It was a great way to engage a child in real, useful conversation and activity. She's the most engage Spanish teacher we've found on iTalki so far! We plan to do many more lessons with her!

Lessons with Manuela are really nice and effective. My daughter ( 6 years old) always looks forward to the lessons. They talk quite a lot. Manuela tries to make lessons informative and fun for my daughter. She also sends materials for home revision. I defenitely recommend Manuela as a teacher for children
