I’m Ian, and while my profile video might make you think I’m a rapper, I promise—I'm not! But I do have a flair for drama, whether it’s rapping, performing music on stage, or doing stand-up comedy.
I’ve studied Thai and Vietnamese, and now they’ve become like my second and third languages. Now, I’m focused on mastering Chinese, with the goal of passing HSK 2 while studying for HSK 3.
In my classes, you’ll get the same energy I bring to the stage—dynamic, fun, and all about real conversation. So get ready to laugh, chat, and improve your English!

I don’t really consider myself a “teacher,” but that doesn’t mean you won’t learn from me! I offer an opportunity for you to practice speaking with a native English speaker in a relaxed, conversational setting. I’ll adjust to your level and, when needed, challenge you to keep improving.

My classes are all about conversation. To get the most out of them, come ready to talk about anything—your hobbies, your day, or even random questions. Ask lots of questions, and don’t worry if you run out of ideas; I’ll keep the conversation flowing!
Why conversation? It’s one of the best ways to improve your language skills naturally. By engaging in real conversations, you’ll start mimicking native sounds without even noticing. This helps you pick up pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation effortlessly. You’ll also build vocabulary, refine grammar, and gain confidence while enjoying the process.
