Great lesson with Giulia! We learned the vocabulary about family members. We also learned about reflexive verbs and did a listening exercise. Giulia noticed a mistake I was making with personal pronouns and reviewed the rules so that I understood, which was very helpful!

Oggi ho imparato dei modi di dire italiani: per esempio dare pane al pane e scoprire l’acqua calda. Giulia mi ha fatto creare un esempio per ciascuno per vedere se capissi bene il senso. Molto divertente e utile!!!

I strongly recommend Giulia for thoughtful, targeted lessons and test prep.
I've had several tutors on italki for several languages. Generally, I find the most affordable teachers for informal speaking practice. This time, practicing for an Italian CILS exam, I was willing to pay a little more for more structured prep - Giulia's enthusiasm and professionalism justify that higher price point and then some.
She takes organized notes, gives contextual feedback, and has a whole toolbox of methods to apply based on your specific goals. For personalized tutoring, you can't go wrong with Giulia.

Great lesson with Giulia! We had a conversation about new year's resolutions. After that, Giulia reviewed the work that I did. Giulia noticed some mistakes that I made and suggested that we do further review before going on, which I thought was a good idea. I appreciate Giulia for giving honest feedback and making sure that I have the skills I need!
