Matteo always asks me questions to facilitate conversation. Matteo is curious about me and my interests and gets me to open up and speak about what is on my mind. I always feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and ideas with Matteo. Matteo always makes conversation fun & interesting.

Matteo is an excellent Italian tutor, who always keeps the conversation going, and he gives lots of vocabulary help. We talk about interesting topics in a fun and interesting conversation. Matteo is also well spoken ,well dressed, always punctual, and cares about his students. He speaks clearly, and always asks me interesting questions to elicit my reflection and response.

I just completed my 5th lesson with Matteo and I plan on booking more. Matteo is patient and kind and is great at keeping the conversation going. My lessons tend to be more conversational and less structured but that works for me for my level of Italian. I feel comfortable slowing down and trying my best to say what I am trying to say, and even though I make a lot of mistakes, and at times I'm not sure if what I said even makes sense, Matteo always understands me and elaborates on what I said and suggests better ways to say what I was trying to say in a more natural way. Matteo creates an environment where I feel comfortable making mistakes which is crucial for the learning process. He is exactly what I was looking for, and he's fun to talk to. I would highly recommend booking a lesson with Matteo!
